Just wanted to share some pics and update you all on whats going on in our live (gasp- I'm getting horrible at this posting!)
So here's a quick update...
We've been busy busy busy. After Ella's birthday in Jan, we spent a fun weekend in Steamboat for Winter Carnival. I have no idea why I have no photos from the trip because I swear I took my camera, but I do have a few phone pics that I posted in my Feb phone dump if you are dying to see what we did (hot springs etc).
In February I started yoga teacher training, which was a huge undertaking for the whole family. I was in lecture or yoga class or doing some sort of yoga related training approx 20-30 hours a week. With Mark still traveling about 3 days a week for work, it was super hectic... but I'm happy to say I completed my training and graduated on April 15th after 9 weeks of training. :) Yay me! Anyone need yoga lessons?
Ella is a sometimes sweet, sometimes sassy 4.5 year old. She is an awesome big sister and helper to Mom, when she wants to be. We are really enjoying this age, she is the perfect shopping and yoga companion for mom and loves to lounge in front o f the TV with Dad. She usually plays great with her brother and will even go in his room in the morning and play with him, giving Mom and Dad an extra 15-30 minutes of sleep- yeah Ella! Ella still goes to preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays, she has dance after school on Thursdays and was in swim lessons most of the winter, however she's taking break from swimming for soccer this spring. Most of all she enjoys playing with friends from school or neighbors. Oh- and her favorite colors are pink and purple, her favorite food is fruit snacks or dessert, and she has 3 boyfriends.
Charlie is walking and FINALLY taking! I think being in school 1 day a week this past year has really helped him with the talking. He mimics almost everything we say and is actually doing a pretty good job of communicating these days. Mom and Ella may be the only people that understand him... but hey, its huge progress from 6 months ago. Charlie loves ball... soccer, football, baseball... it doesn't really matter. He is definitely into sports! And bikes and planes too! He is all boy. And he loves dogs. He is happy most of the time as long as he is fed and well rested... but steer clear when he is in a bad mood. He had quite the temper. It's not uncommon for Charlie to throw himself on the pavement in a parking lot or the concrete floor at Target when he is upset. When possible, we just try to ignore his outburst and he usually comes to his senses with a quick apology... but WOW is it embarrassing for mom. Hopefully he grows out of it.
As for the rest, here's a few snapshots...

| I can't blame Ella for the crown and necklace on Charlie... He INSISTS that she let him play dress-up with her. I don't think she minds a bit and we all get a good laugh! |
