Ella's day with Jack

Ella and Jack have been buddies for a while. Julie (Jack's mom) and I were pregnant together and delivered Ella and Jack only 20 days apart. We were so excited to have him for the day while his parents went skiing in Winter Park.

March Maddness!

Ella and Mom really enjoyed watching the basketball games together this year. While we are sad that Mizzou lost in the Elite 8, we are excited because Mom is winning her pool! Go UNC!

Today is Friday, March 20th, Ella is just 9 days shy of 14 months old and she is WALKING! GG was here to witness the first steps and we can't wait for Dada to get home tonight to see it for himself!

Biking with Mom & Dad

Dad has been wating a bike trailer since the day I found out I was pregnant and we finally found a good deal at a consignment sale in town! Woo hoo! We bought the trailer, a helmet, and off we went.

It was 65 degrees and the perfect day for a bikeride. We took it easy for the 1st time and stayed close to home. We took a short ride, stopped for dinner, and then biked home. I think Ella really enjoyed herself. It's a 2-seater, so she had room to bring a few toys along. So fun!

My Yoga Baby

I've been doing yoga lately and Ella has started to show an interest in joining.



She does a great up-dog!

I'm having a serious urge lately to write everything down. Ella is changing daily and I am afraid it will all past by too quickly for me to remember. Here are a few of my recent notes:

• New words on a daily, even hourly, basis. Some new ones are: teeth, shoe, sock, cheese, up, down and agua (Is she considered bi-ligual if she only speaks 1 word of Spanish!?)
• She is also doing animal sounds now! She has "moo", "woof" and "meow" down pat!
• Ella is getting MUCH better at pointing out body parts. She knows: eyes, ears, mouth, hair, nose, ears, belly and teeth.
• Still no walking yet, but we have had a few standing episodes. It's so exciting to watch her make progress on this one. She walks holding my hand, but I only let her hold the tip on my pinky finger.

Happy Birthday Evie!

Ella wanted to wish Evie the HAPPIEST of Birthdays today! Thanks for having us to your birthday party this weekend! We had a blast!

Ella Stands on Her Own!

Ella stood up on her own this Sunday! We were getting her dressed for Evie's 1st birthday party and I let go of her for a sec and suddenly she was standing on her own! She stood for a few minutes... just long enough for us to snap a pic and get a video! Yay Ella!
