We had a ton of fun during the rest of our trip to KC. Mark flew in to join us from Wed-Mon. He had to work while he was there, but we still were able to get some family time in. Here are a few more highlights:
Ella and I both joined GG for yoga. GG and I took a class while Ella went into the kids yoga class. I'm pretty sure the kids class was for 4 or 5 years and older, but Ella held her own. The teacher said Ella did great until she turned the lights off for savasana at the end. I think she thought they were going to make her take a nap because she got scared and started crying. Other than that, my little girl did excellent in a 70 minute class all by herself! I was so impressed!
Of course I had to stock up on some Mizzou gear while we were in town. We headed to the closest Missouri Wal-Mart to load up. Ella, Charlie, Mom & Dad all got some MU Tigers black & gold to wear back in Colorado.
Ella was lucky enough to make not one, but TWO trips to the Deanna Rose Farmstead in Overland Park, KS. We had so much fun during our 1st trip with Ella's buds Arden & Sophia that we headed back again with Dad. Ella had so much fun seeing cows, goats and tons of other fun stuff. Dad made it extra special by taking Ella to feed the baby goats and taking her fishing! They even caught a fish!!!
No trip to KC would be complete without a visit with the Lorei and Cowie families. We were lucky enough to get some adult time this trip as well as a playdate or two. Here's a pic of Ashley, me & Kara on the patio at a local mexican restaurant. Wow that sangria was good!
